She Was!
Waving, that is. SO cute! I forgot how fun this stage was... when they start trying to communicate. Looking forward to what she has to say next!

What's up
Just popping in to my online journal to say.....
Payton has another top tooth poking through. That's two on top, two on bottom. None of them line up, but she doesn't bite.
And.... she MAY have been waving out the window the other day. I can't decide. We never wave when we are in the house, but we always wave to people out the front window... and the other day when Steve was going to a meeting, I set her up on the back of the couch, but Morgan was having a fit and I was trying to get her to get up on the couch too... I look over, and her little hand is opening and closing. So I don't know. I hadn't started waving yet, and after she stopped she didn't start again, so it may have been a coincidence... but it was super cute so I hope that's what she was doing!
Otherwise... she says mamamamamama, but that's it. Hasn't started doing any sign language yet. I'm not as good about it as I was with Morgan, but I do try the eat, drink, and more when I remember. Oh, and bath. She loves taking a bath.
Tonight Steve is watching the kids and I'm going out to dinner with my girlfriends! I haven't done this in many moons, so I am looking forward to it! A couple of gals are PG and due within the month, so we are having a last hurrah of sorts before they are swamped. Johnny Carino's. Italian. Yum!

Payton - 9 months, standing up. I was JUST outside this pic because she really wasn't that stable and wasn't standing up and just holding on to things yet... I felt guilty that this was the first time she'd had her photos "professionally" done.... but I can't scrap professional photos and post them online, and heck, I can take better pictures on my own... so the guilt trip didn't last long!

Payton. 9 months
Oh dear... I am so behind in documenting what's happening with my little PJ!
We came home from the coast and now she's crawling.... EVERYWHERE. Army crawling. It's a good thing we put up a baby gate, because if I head downstairs to get laundry, etc., half the time she's standing there, holding on to the bars, when I come back up. She's quick! She's also pulling herself up to a stand, so we put her activity center on it's legs so she'd have something to play with (dum de dum de dum).
She's been in her crib for a few weeks now... so it's time to finally put away the pack-n-play. Yay! She isn't sleeping through the night, and this week she's sick... but fortunately, her late night cries haven't bothered her big sis at all, and for that, I'm very grateful. They need to share a room!
I can already see the trouble they will get in, because there's already been a time or two when we thought everyone was asleep, only to come across lights peeping under their door, and opened it to reveal a wide awake little girl, standing in her bed, and various room decor items littering it everywhere, as Morgan has decided she'd like to read all of their books, or would like to change her diaper with... all of their diapers, or that her dresser drawer needs reorganized... sigh....
Miss PJ has been under the weather for the last week, and then last night I noticed she's also getting a top tooth. Not a front tooth, not an eye tooth, but a tooth on the left. I don't have a picture of it because I'd have to push up her gums to get one... but here's a recent tooth photo that shows a couple of her pearly whites:
Oh my gosh, she's so cute! When she's really happy or trying to be funny she'll crinkle up her nose and breathe in an out really fast... it cracks us up!
My girl is 9 months old. It's going so fast!
