Walking Blimp

I'm wrong. As I put on my overalls this morning, and received the small wedgie that tells me that these are now TOO SMALL to fasten around myself..... I thought I was the walking blimp, with a very concentrated missile sticking straight out my abdomen like Superman on the hunt for damsels in distress. However, I just got out the measuring tape.... and I'm still 2 inches shy of my FULL TERM waistline. Oh. I get bigger than this. That's nice.

I have officially reached the point where my current wardrobe has stopped working for me. Saturday I wore a blue turtleneck sweater that I wore for my Christmas card photos in 2003 when I was at the same stage in pregnancy. First, I can't wear the pants I wore in that photo... they have a panel that's just way too tight and hurts now. Second.... that blue sweater is now a half-shirt. I had to wear a sweater over it the whole day. This little booger is far lower than Miss Morgan Paige ever was, so I'm having a hard time finding tops that go down low enough to cover my belly button, and my saggy bottom pants, because I have also run out of room for a waistband to stay up, yet panel pants are itchy and uncomfortable, so my rear now looks like there are 4 cheeks instead of two.

So, I guess it had better get warmer, becuase I'm going to have to run around naked for the next 9+ weeks until the big day.... this month I have been going to the office on casual Friday, so they shouldn't mind so much...... anybody have a gunny sack they can loan me? What does it say up there? 64 days? How many minutes is that??????????......................

Oh good----being uncomfortable means you are on the home stretch. Trust me, I know. There are currently now 11 (yes, ELEVEN) nurses/therapists/social workers on my floor who are pregnant (Unless Maria#1 had hers, she was due today). I have the unique experience of enjoying your pregnancies (you and Sabrina) through them, since Tanya is due one week before you (On the 12, I think, so actually 2 weeks before your DUE date, a couple days before the CS), and Maria#2 is due two days before Sabrina. I am tempted to get pregnant just to avoid being at work when the massive shortage of people happens at the end of this summer. ALL of our social workers are pregnant, and all but one of the pregnant nurses works the day shift, so we will be REALLY short, and we can't hire anyone to take their place, since they are on leave and coming back afterwards. Eek!

I'm feeling very irritable lately.... I shouldn't be doing that for another month! No stretch marks yet, but I swear, every time I try to bend down for something, I feel like I just got one. My hips feel like I could just pop them off like Barbie and reattach them every morning. I wish that was how it worked. I'm ready for this to be finished! I can't enjoy it like I did the first time, because I'm chasing around a 35 pound 2 year old that still likes to be held. Love doing it, but between her and the baby, that's more than 50 pounds more than I usually carry. Who wants to do that all day! Especially because you don't see defined muscles afterwards.... just a bigger behind! I am getting SO anxious to see who this is... I had a big long boy dream the other day, and at our Superbowl party, our friend Russ brought his 9 month old son Orion, and he was dressed in this cute little flannel shirt, just like something Steve would wear.... he's so adorable! But if it's a girl... I love my girl name... Morgan is so adorable.... I hope she looks just like her.... Ahh... it's so exciting, because it doesn't matter who it is... it's going to be so AWESOME! I can't wait!

Oh... and don't go acting like the nurses pushed you to procreate. We all know your clock is ticking, no matter how many times you try and pretend it isn't. :)

Kitties doing better?

Then again... you might not want to be pregnant when you have to work all that overtime. ... ... But it's time!

Morgan is such a big girl, you are just destined to have a teeny tiny little boy. With black hair, maybe. Or red hair that STAYS red. Raegan was so small in comparison to Morgan at the same ages, I wonder if Sabrina is having a big baby this time around and you the teeny one. Although, if your belly is getting 'there', maybe yours can't be so tiny after all.

Babies made now have a Christmas(ish) birthday....
Can't wait for those Amerson babies though!!
Almost done, Davinie.I was told that only first babies "drop" and all other babies are already in the drop position.. maybe that is why s/he is sitting so low this time? Not sure how that applies with a C-section baby.. Did Morgan ever drop for you? Raegan didn't really, I think that happened when I was induce the 2nd time. I do know she was still VERY high when they broke my water. ( Oh, and in 64 or so days, you can get a lot bigger.... that's 2 months! I'll bet you are one inch bigger then with Morgan this time.... due to the more-in-frontage.

Morgan's a tank! She's going to be a model! Actually, she's got so many of your mannerisms it's crazy.... yet you never stood out as a BIG kid... Mom said it was a bummer because you didn't wear my hand-me-downs, she had to get two of the same size... but still remember many a year where you were standing on your tip toes!

I know. I've thought about how funny it would be to have a teeny boy with my little amazon woman. I hope it doesn't happen that way. I also thought it would be funny to have a little me... a bummer, because she'd never get to wear Morgan's clothes... the seasons might really be off! I really hope it's a girl who's the spit image of her sister. I love seeing sibs that are OBVIOUSLY related. I never thought we Cooper kids looked alike at all, remember the "adopted" jokes... yet my friends all tell me that they can see the resemblance between Sabrina and I.

I guess we'll see!

I wonder what the size difference is? Sabrina and I haven't compared 1 year notes. I'd be anxious to see. I know Morgan got her on weight... I'll have to pull up my records

I swear, it's more than an inch! My coworkers suggested those belly bands, but this kid isn't drooping over anything. I am the weirdest looking pregnant woman. I have two shelves. One on top, turn me over, and one the other way. A definite watermelon bump.

For a 1/30 baby, we got pregnant the first week of April. My suggestion? Wait at least until May. I wish now that Morgan wasn't so close to Christmas. I had to think about her birthday invitations while opening Christmas gifts... and on her birthday, she knew exactly what presents were because she'd barely finished opening her holiday gifts! Have a February baby. I never felt like I was close to Christmas.

No, Morgan didn't drop. I had my Cesarean before we got to that point, I think.

And you know... my belly is bigger, but this bab is so busy jumping around in there... I don't think the baby is big... but it's hard to tell because Morgan was so hung up she didn't really move much. This feels much different! I almost think the baby is smaller than Morgan was. I'm just bigger! Oh, if only I knew!

I can't find the paperwork right now, but I do know that Raegan was 19lb 10oz at one year, and her weight ( along with everything else) was in the 50th percentile.... Even if you do have a little Man and he is smaller then Morgan, he'll catch up and surpass her when he gets to the teen years.

Oh, I'm not worried about size... just CURIOUS!

Let's see.... I dug up her baby book, and at one year Morgan was 30" tall and 23lbs 4 oz. My little "waif" was in the 75th percentile.

I think Rae is bigger than Rylee was. Tami said at her last appointment Rylee was only in the 20th percentile... and of course, Krysta is a little pixie girl. Ah well. She's still adorable! I have people come up to me all the time because she has such a great personality. That's my girl!

She is getting cuter every day.. such personality coming out! It looks like she is on the downward slope on those "terrible twos" because she was SO much fun the last time she was here! Coloring and sharing, letting me do her hair... Yes, Personality Plus!

I'm glad she's good for other people! She can be a major pill at our house, but that's typical.

I really think those art classes have done a world of good. She stopped coloring for a while, only wanting me to do it, and was holding her crayons kinda funny, and I've been worried it was because I'm left handed so I'm confusing her a little because I hold everything "backwards". But since we've gone to our Thursday class, she talks all the time about "Art Class". Of course, her fabulous bird is taped to our dining room window where she can see it a lot, but I think she really enjoyed herself.... as you will see in your Valentines!

I think Raegan is a leftie... she holds her spoon with her left, and usually reaches for objects with her left... but then some times switches hands.. who knows. Has Morgan shown a preference yet?

We're pretty sure she's right handed.. she's just been switching a little lately, and then not wanting to do any coloring, and I think it's because she's been paying more attention to what Mom's doing... and I do it the other way, so she's been giving it a try.

What mannerisms does Morgan have that remind you of me?? This is the first I'v heard of it...
AND, we are NOT trying to have babies right now. Maybe this fall. We would prefer a summer baby, if we got to choose, and we have too many other things going on right now, we don't want to try just yet. We have lots of time...

She's tall and blond, for starters. She sits in the "M", for another. I never did that. She's always running around on her tippie toes. The ballerina? Or does she just want to be taller?
